October 9: Dr. Doris Warren
Dr. Doris Warren is the dean of the HBU College鈥╫f Science and Mathematics and a professor of Chemistry. She has served the University since 1967. As a professional chemist, she developed the analytical chemistry curriculum for HBU. Dr. Warren鈥檚 writings, research, committee work and volunteer service have benefited the University and many others.

Dinesh D鈥橲ouza is an author and filmmaker. He is known for making apologetics points and writing patriotic manifestos and political tell-alls. Dr. Craig Evans is the John Bisagno Distinguished Professor of Christian Origins for HBU. He is an expert on the historical grounds of New Testament writings. Dr. Evans has published more than 600 scholarly studies, including more than 70 books. His book, 鈥淔abricating Jesus: How Modern Scholars Distort the Gospels,鈥濃�╥s a best-seller.

October 30: Mary Jo Sharp
Known for her expertise in public speaking and writing, Assistant Professor of Apologetics Mary Jo Sharp emphasizes relational connections in apologetic engagement. She has written the influential Bible鈥╯tudy, 鈥淲hy Do You Believe That?鈥� and is a contributor to several collected works of apologetics including,鈥ㄢ�淎 New Kind of Apologist,鈥� and 鈥淚n Defense of the Bible.鈥� She also regularly writes curriculum with LifeWay Christian Resources.

HBU Men鈥檚 Head Basketball Coach and Associate Director of Athletics Ron Cottrell has one of the longest coaching tenures, and is one of the most successful collegiate basketball head coaches in the NCAA. Apologetics Professor Dr. Holly Ordway鈥檚 work centers on cultural and imaginative apologetics.
