He is an ordained priest in the Anglican Diocese of the Western Gulf Coast and draws from the richness of the Anglican tradition with clarity\, conviction\, and warmth. \n\n\nKnown for his engaging preaching style and theological insight\, Derrick integrates vivid storytelling\, pastoral care\, and cultural resonance to guide others into living within the biblical narrative. His ministry reflects the rhythms of the African American pastoral tradition\, blending cadence and depth to speak timeless truth into today’s world. \n\n\nDerrick holds degrees from Belhaven University in Jackson\, Mississippi\, and the College of Biblical Studies–Houston.
